ICS Diamond Tools (www.icsdiamondtools.com), the flagship brand within the Concrete Cutting & Finishing (CCF) Business Unit with Blount International, Inc. has an exceptional Fabricator Welder opportunity at our facility in Prescott, Arizona, where Merit Flat Saws are manufactured. Pay: Starting at $19.29, up to $23.57 per hour depending on skills and experience; there are regular pay progressions Founded in 2011, Merit Flat Saws designs and manufactures innovative, dependable, and user-friendly saws for the professional concrete cutter. We are looking for someone who can: •Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures •Set up, operate, and perform regular maintenance on tools such as welders, plasma cutters, shapers, and measuring tools •Perform welding and soldering •Maintain inventory of product in workstations •Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards •Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified •Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes •Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures •Maintain a clean and safe work area What you’ll do: The successful candidate will fabricate or weld parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of the production line. Minimum Qualifications: •High School Diploma or equivalent •Gas Metal Arc Welding Certificate and/or equivalent experience •Previous MIG welding or related operating experience required; TIG welding is a plus •Able to regularly lift 25 to 75 pounds, stand for 8 hours a day, perform repetitive tasks, and possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately •Basic reading skills; must be able to follow directions •Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly •High attention to detail and self-motivation skills •Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed •Set a good example of personal integrity •Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes •Basic computer skills to be able to use Microsoft Office suite Availability: •Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. •Willing to work overtime, as needed to meet production targets More about Blount International, Inc.
