DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST – SPECIALTY CIVIL CONTRACTOR Buesing Corp. is in search of a diverse Desktop Support Specialist at our Phoenix, AZ Headquarters. This position is responsible for providing Tier 1 end user customer service as it relates to the support of Microsoft Windows and Apple devices for remote and onsite users. Buesing is a specialty civil contractor serving the construction industry since 1965 providing many civil related contracting services involving earthwork, trucking, dirt brokering, aggregates, shoring, shotcrete, crushing, recycling, foundation drilling and residential and commercial concrete. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE • Build strong relationships with end users and provide Tier 1 customer service • Provide end users with technical support and training • Deploy and manage mobile devices • Manage Active Directory and O365 users, computers and mailboxes • Deploy user workstations, including Microsoft Windows operating systems • Regularly confer with members of the IT Team and users regarding current and prospective system changes and future needs • Involved in diagnosing and correcting system related failures and performing system management activities; determine logical solutions to complex system administration and application problems • Additional duties as assigned by IT Management or business leadership EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS • Associates Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field is required • Two years of relevant experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies and TCP/IP networking may be substituted for Associates Degree • Experience in writing system documentation, system specifications / requirements, presentations, correspondence, studies, reports and training materials • Ability to properly develop and maintain accurate documentation • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with remote and onsite users • Ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff • Excellent interpersonal skills, including team-building and oral / written communication • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; detail orientated with high appreciation for excellence and quality • Experience maintaining cloud infrastructure resources and security • Familiar with Microsoft Azure and related applications / environments Background check and drug screening is required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. *This is a safety sensitive position.
